Busy, Busy, Busy

Goodness, life has been busy! Lance is still working out of Gallup. He has been coming home more frequent lately to visit but we are going to have to put an end to that. Its so tempting to have him drive home but the gas is killing our budget. School is out and Sari has been having tons of fun. :) She started swim lessons this week, along with Boston. They both have loved it so much. Boston was telling me yesterday how Awesome it is! We were getting a great laugh at how excited he was as he was shivering to death. He is such a cute good boy with a sweet spirit! I moved my spin class from evenings to mornings for the summer. I teach now at 8:30 in the morn and so loving it! Staish hangs out with the Turly's during class when they are home and available and she loves them to death! :) When they are out of town, I get a sitter or the Connells help me out. They have been great! Co-ed softball has started. I love it tons. Its so much fun. Last year I played for Patten and Green and had a great time- Great bunch of people. But this year, I really wanted to play with my brother and his wife. It's been fun. Pher is hilarious and we have been having a great time! I love my family! And thank-ful for my great friends. :)

Reading Restaurant

Last week, Sari's 1st grade class did a Reading Restaurant. She has been talking about it for a long time. Lance drove home that day so he can be there. She was so excited! It was really neat. The kids pretended that they were waiters and waitresses. They showed us menus with what they will be reading to us and read us some books. And they sang and danced. For dessert, we had cake and punch. So much fun!!!!

I Have a Leak!!!!!

UGH! I have a leak. Why do these things always happen when the hubby is gone! Plus he is locked to a work train in Grants for a few days. :( I barely noticed it this morn after I mopped( ha ha I know- shocker isn't it!) I'm only blogging about it because this is my adult contact! jk but seriously, with Lance gone, I do spend more time on the computer when I have tons of other things I should be doing ;) Any how, now I have to figure out whats going on. I am thinking its coming from the kids bathroom. Maybe the bathtub. Wish me luck! Oh i wish Lance were home!

Boston's 5th Bday!

On April 19, we celebrated Boston's 5th birthday! He was super excited! He wanted a Nintendo DS cake, so I got online and googled it and found some great ideas. It was tons of fun. Susie came over after work and decorated it with me. It turned out cute and Boston loved it. We had a dinner on his bday. And LeAnn took these great shots for me. Thanks LeAnn. :) Boston was so excited to turn 5. We told him that now since he is 5, he has to eat the crusts on his sandwiches. It seems to be working. He is such a good boy and I love him to death. I couldn't ask for a better son. I love you Boston! I'm going to miss him when he goes to Kindergarten next year.

Silly Staish

Staisha did the funniest thing this morn! I was lounging watching tv and Staisha walks in the tv room. She is all dressed with Sari's dance bag over her shoulder and Sari's ballerina slippers on. She says to me I love You! and Give me a kiss. I give her kisses and I say I love you too. Then she walks away. I start thinking hmm what is she up to? So I say "Staisha, where are you going.?" She says( all innocently) "I'm going Bye Bye" lol I jump off the couch and stop her before she goes out the front door. oh it was hilarious!

Look what lemon almost caught!

A little creature has been making holes in my backyard! I'm thinking and hoping this is the culprit. Today Lance and I were upstairs, when the kids came up saying mom, lemon has a mouse behind the computer! When we came downstairs, we found lemon by the computer with this little guy. Yay! lemon ( oh Lemon is my cat) had it cornered and kept the thing from running amuck in my house. Luckily Lance was home today from Gallup and we caught it and put it in the pail. I didn't want Lance to kill it so he took it out far into the desert. What is this called? and I so hope we caught the rodent making holes in my yard. :)

Update on cheeto going up nose post!

So I really thought I was going crazy. I could not for the life of me remember taking pics of Staisha sticking Cheetos up her nose. I had one of my babysitters over the other night and showed her my blog with Staish in it. She started laughing and said "Hey, I took those pictures. I couldn't believe she was posing for me. So I took the shot!" I was laughing so hard! I told her great shots and I was so relieved that I wasn't losing my mind and sanity!

Lance is going Bye-Bye today

Lance has been working out of Gallup for the past couple of weeks. Split a hotel room with Josh once, has slept in his truck and drives home. It is getting quite pricey driving back and forth so we have finally broke down and rented a trailor for Lance to stay in. Its all hooked up and he is ready to go. We are sad that he has to live 2 hours away but on the other hand, we feel lucky, he could be much farther away. I keep telling him he is lucky. Its like he is going camping! lol We will miss him and hopefully this doesn't last too long. Hurry up ecomony and kick in gear! If it gets worse and he gets kicked out of Gallup, he will head to Gillette, Wy. We are praying things get better! For all the separated families! :(

Around a month ago, (i know, my bad, I'm barely posting about it) I put Staish to bed and went downstairs. After a bit, I thought I better go upstairs and check on her. This is what I found! lol lol lol I immediately put her in her room to bed. It would have been awful if she rolled down the stairs while sleeping. I thought I would share this with you all! :) Sorry pics are not that great. Still no camera. This came from my cell phone.

Enrichment

During the end of last year, I finally got out of primary. Yay! and got called as Enrichment Leader. Which I am loving. Corri Havlicek is in charge and she does great. This Tues., we are putting together 72 hour kits. Im so excited. I have been wanting to do these but just didnt and couldn't bring myself to start. So tomorrow, Corri and I are headed to Flag to get the stuff at Sam's. I'm excited to go to get out of town and a break from the kiddos is always nice. Yay for 72 hour Kits!

Its been busy!

Wow I cant believe its been since Dec since my last post. We had a fun Christmas and New year. We really enjoyed it with the kids. After the first of the year, Lance got bumped out of Winslow. Our options were for him to go to Gallup and work. Yuck. so we decided to take vacation time and go to Idaho. We had a great time seeing family! It was so much fun. We surprised Lance's parents and that was hilarious! We were so happy to see them and my parents. On our way home, we stopped in Brigham City and stayed the night with my sister. I was so glad to see her and her family. Her three kids had all grown up. We were sad but said goodbye the next day. Oh yeah! While on Vacation, they added jobs to Winslow. So when we got back, Lance was able to stay in town. We felt so blessed! :) We will see with time how the whole job thing goes. Stinken economy! lol

Last Saturday LeAnn and Pher went to go take pictures of ther family and invited us to come along! Thank goodness since I dont have a working camera and i despertely needed some pictures done. Here are some of the ones she took. Staisha does not like getting hers done. That was a challenge but LeAnn did an awesome job. Oddles and boodles of thankyous! :) By the way, I'm way jealous Cole behaved so well getting his done! And hers looked so good. It was fun!

I Got Tagged

1. When I first started my job, it tore me up to be away from my kids. Now I look forward to the two days a week I work to get a little break( I know, thats so bad).

2. I love taking my son Boston to the movies. He laughs so loud at the littlest things. Its so cute and very entertaining at the kid's movies.

3. I have cankles! In which I hate them but I've learned to have a good sense of humor about it and its a big joke with my family and friends. Its like my ankles are filled with liquid. So wierd, and if I squeeze them, it hurts. lol

4. I abesolutely can not stand to mop. I don't like it. Lance does the mopping in this house. I think I have maybe mopped maybe 5 times in my 9 years of marriage.

5. I can be very critical of myself. If I'm going somewhere, I sometimes change a zillion times. It drives Lance nuts! I always seem to find flaws and ask my husband "Do I look ok?"

6. I love making and eating treats. I think I am addicted. If there is help out there, please let me know! lol

Agh! The Wind

Today is Saturday and it is way windy. I'm not sure how fast the wind has been blowing but it has been a long time since I have seen it blow like this. This is what it did to my trampolene.



I'm very lucky. The damage could have been much worse like having it end up in the neighbor's yard. I do not like windy days. On the bright side, it does make it for a kick back day at home except for the gym time and cleaning I had to do this morn. :(

The Pony Tail Challenge

Everybody has got to check out the Pony Tail Challenge this week.(I have a link here on my blog) The challenge is to try to be on time to something this week and not be late. And goodness, that is a major challenge for me. I am late for everything. If I set a time to meet someone, they automatically know to be at least 10 minutes late. lol I am awful. My challenge is to get to church on time this Sunday. I know, your probably wondering, "Can it be done?" That is my biggest challenge each week. So Staisha, No dirty diapers before we leave the house for church! lol JK They are having a prize giveaway for this challenge and it is awesome. They are having a drawing for these beautiful clocks. Yay! Back to Work

Great News! Lance finally and I mean Finally went back to work. The doctor's office faxed me the work release form on Wed afternoon. I immediately faxed it to the railroad. Everything didn't get straightened out until Friday night though. :( But its all good. Lance got put on the Engineers extra-board Saturday morning and 5 minutes later he was called to work! Yay! He went to Needles and that was an adjustment. He was was gone for 34 hours! Needless to say we missed each other tons and the kids missed him too. Staisha kepted asking Where's dad? So I'm hoping things get back to normal soon and we have a lot of catching up to to do due to missed work. :) He was off for 9 weeks and boy did it go by fast.

Update on Lance-i-poo poo

I can't believe it! Lance has been off work since August 4. And boy did time fly by. Thank goodness! lol Last week we went to the doctor and he told Lance he can go back to work on October 1st. :) Hurray! Well today is October 1st and I dare mention to say: no work. :( (boo hoo) lol On Monday, Lance called the railroad saying I can go back to work and I have a doctors note. They said we need a certain form filled out by you and the doctor and have it faxed back to us. So we filled out our part and faxed it to the doctor that same day. The doctor said it would cost us $25 (which has to be paid before they fax it back. So ridiculous!) and take a week to get back. So we pleaded with his secretary and she said she would try her best to get it signed. Well today is the day he is suppose to mark up for work and we still haven't received the filled out form. So i keep telling myself Whats another day in the grand scheme of things! My hubby will be back to work soon! Hopefully! lol Oh on a side note. Lance is pretty sad now that one of his ankles now looks like a cankle. It keeps swelling up. I said to buck up and join the club. At least he doesn't have two cankles! lol

Sari's birthday seemed to have lasted all weekend. Her birthday was actually on Sunday the 14th but we had a party on Saturday the 13th instead( Sorry Greg for stealing part of your bday. Thanks for sharing your family with us!). Sari was way excited to have it at Captain Tonys. So was I ( They clean up the mess and its not at my house. LOL) We had lots of fun. Thankyou everybody. Thankyou Leann for letting me use your camera. You rock! A cute thing I noticed looking at all her bday pics was that wherever I saw Sari, I saw Kennedy right next to her. Sari loves her cousin Kennedy! On her actual bday, I asked Sari what she wanted for dinner. She said she wanted Chicken and black beans with Kennedy and Kaden and family. So we had a little family get together. Today I brought homeade oreos to her 1st grade class( that was what Sari requested) and they had a little party there and sang happy birthday. We lots of fun this weekend. Birthdays are so much Fun.
